Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

Every fall there's one thing that you can be sure of, I am sure to be singing the praises of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. It's just a great family event that adds a little extra flair to your Walt Disney World vacation. As we mentioned on Tuesday when we talked about treats, the party is now in full swing for the spooky season and we're talking about the brand new stage show.

Guests are back from opening night and all across the internet I'm reading raves for the brand new stage show called the "Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular." Winifred, Mary and Sarah brew up a Hocus Pocus Party Potion to serve at a most evil Halloween party located in the castle forecourt. The Sanderson sisters are absolutely divalicious. A cute story, fantastic dark and jazzy music, simple gothic inspired props set the sinister mood that's enhanced by castle projections and lighting.

Check out this video preview from our friends over at the Disney Parks Blog.

The show is modern, and funny with big production numbers throughout. While the interactions between the sisters and other classic Villains could have awkward or forced, the comedic trio plays off favorites such as Dr. Facilier and Oogie Boogie like they're old friends. The sisters are true to character, and seem to have stepped right out of the movie screen. It's absolutely worth taking the time out of your night at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party to watch. The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular will happen four times each night during the Halloween Party at 8, 9:20, and 10:40 p.m. and at midnight.

Will you let the Sanderson Sisters them put a spell on you? Leave a comment and let us know!

It's a great show! I loved it. I wasn't sure about it at first but wow, it's amazing. The dancers do a wonderful job as well.

I agree Mandy, I thought the dancing was much more current than is often seen at Disney. It was great!
