Holiday Decorations for Resort Rooms at Walt Disney World

Christmas season at Walt Disney World is a magical time full of whimsy and decorations reaching to every corner of the world. A recent trend, especially amongst DVCers, has been for travelers to decorate their hotel rooms with holiday finery to make it feel a little more like home. This year DVC has issued a reminder notice to members "that all decorations should be contained within the villa interiors and therefore shouldn't extend to the balcony or other exterior areas." So if you plan on decking your holiday halls it will have to stay inside the room or villa.

However, if lugging holiday decorations down in your suitcase doesn't sound like fun to you, Disney's willing to lend you experts to make some holiday magic. All you need to do is order a classically-decorated Christmas tree from Disney Floral & Gifts. For over twenty years, the Disney Dream Makers have been offering fully decorated Christmas Trees delivered and set it up right in your hotel room! With a new design every year, Disney Floral & Gifts makes the holidays come to life for you and your family.

If you're looking for something special to place under the tree, they can help too with all sorts of gifts to choose from a simple plush to full, custom in room celebrations. Stockings can be personalized with the names of who they belong to and are filled to the brim with goodies and treats from the Disney confectioners. You can have a little extra holiday magic for your family and let Disney do all the heavy lifting. Disney creates holiday magic for families every year, but you need to order soon because the Enchanted Florist tells me that Christmas decorations often sell out.

I almost forgot to mention what I think make be one of the best parts yet! The magic doesn't have to stop there, because when your vacation is over, Disney Floral & Gifts can even pack up your tree and ship it back to you at home to enjoy for years to come. Talk about a no hassle holiday!

Would you ever consider decorating your hotel room for the holidays? Head over to our forums to discuss all the twinkle and shine! Does it seem a little easier with the help of Mickey's magic? I know that next time I'm down in "the world" for the holiday season I'll be calling for the magical Disney elves to deck the halls.

We are coming to animal kingdom from dec 20-27. Could you tell me what prices a real or fake tree start at? Thanks do much!

Hi Carrie! I highlighted the 2012 Trees in the post here, and included the prices for the three main trees.

I actually got a 4ft pre lit tree from dollar general for $19.00, and some bulb ornaments for $5.99 and place Disney stickers on them. The stickers cost $2.99. The tree fits perfectly in a room too.
