House Of Blues Smokehouse At Disney Springs

On the far end of Disney Springs' West side sits sprawling dining and entertainment complex that is the Orlando House Of Blues. This popular destination offers a wide range of shopping, food, and music opportunities for Disney guests to enjoy. If you're looking for a quick bite and some smokey barbecue is calling your name, you shoul make your way to The Smokehouse.

The Smokehouse is the House of Blues' answer to quick service and serves up some stellar barbecue smoked on site. While the location itself is little more than a service window set on the outside of the House of Blues music courtyard. There are big flavors to be found here.

The Smokehouse menu is small, but guests will find a range of smoked meats including beef, pork, and chicken that can be served up on a platter, in sandwiches, and my favorite... barbecue nachos. Turkey leg fans will also be happy to find their favorite meal here as well.

Seating for The Smokehouse is entirely outdoors behind the building and within the charming House of Blue Music Courtyard. Not only does the courtyard offer tables and chairs beneath Florida live oak, but you'll find a full service outdoor bar with a live music stage. On the weekends you can find performers entertaiing the crowds with blues and indie inspired sounds.

When I stopped by last I was on the Quick ServiceDisney Dining Plan. I ordered a Smoked Beef Brisket Sandwich with an Angry Orchard Cider for one meal credit. I felt like it was a decent vaule for my meal credit, but mostly because I really enjoyed the live entertainment and courtyard atmosphere on a sunny day.

My sandwich was piled high with a good portion of slow Smoked Beef Brisket topped with Memphis BBQ Sauce on a Brioche Bun. While the beef brisket is already sauced it was a touch dry for my taste so I slathered on some extra. The sandwich is served with a side of creamy house-made purple cabbage slaw.

I enjoyed my time at The Smokehouse, and will definately return in the furture. With all the seating being outdoors though, pass on this one if it is raining.
