Everywhere you look at Disney people are taking pictures. Some take pictures of every detail, but most folks don't miss getting those iconic Disney World photos. So I decided to compile a list of some of the most well-known photo spots in Disney World so that you wouldn't miss a beat next time you are at Disney.
Cinderella Castle. There is no other Disney icon at Disney World more famous than Cinderella's Castle. There are a ton of spots in Magic Kingdom where you can get a great shot of Cinderella's Castle.
The Sorcerer's Hat. At Hollywood Studios few things are more iconic than the sorcerer's hat. Make sure a grab a picture with it in the background while you are at Hollywood Studios! Tower of Terror gets an honorable mention and we would definitely recommend snapping a picture with the Tower of Terror in the background!
Spaceship Earth. The EPCOT ball is probably the most iconic Disney World picture next to Cinderella's Castle. In 2000 they added a decorations to celebrate the millennium but they have since taken them away so you can still get your classic EPCOT ball picture.
Expedition Everest. At Animal Kingdom the most iconic photo spot is a toss up between Expedition Everest and the Tree of Life. Both are icons at Animal Kingdom but my vote is for Expedition Everest.
The Top of the Contemporary. Few places offer such amazing views of Disney World as the rooftop of the Contemporary Resort. You can see Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, the Wilderness Lodge, Expedition Everest, and the Tree of Life from here. At night you can catch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. If you can't make it to all the parks to get your photos this is a great spot to get some great shots!
You have two options to get the rooftop view: make a reservation at the California Grill or walk up the outside stairwells to the roof. If you are going to take the stairs then I would take the elevator to the highest floor you can and walk up from there.
Hopefully these tips will help as you head to WDW with your family and friends!
What would you consider the most iconic photos to get at Disney World? What are your favorite things to take pictures of? Let us know in teh comments!

Side Topic
Are the Disney Photo Pass photographers good? It's a bit pricey to me, but if the photogs are good, it might be worth it?

I have to tell you I felt the same way but as a WDW annual visitor - they make life EASY! You get some really awesome pictures you might not have with your own and they eliminate lugging yours around. It's great to just go and then end up with a CD all done for you!

Photo Pass is an expensive option. But we do it anyway because it's fun.
We end up having 15-20 Photo Pass pictures taken during our vacation, and then at the end we go to one of the booths and pick out 2 or 3 that we love and buy them.
It's worth the money for us because we have fun with it, and the pictures are usually all very high quality.
The ones we buy become the centerpieces of our WDW scrapbooks.

I always pre purchased the PhotoPass CD. This way you get every PhotoPass pic taken during your stay, the option to edit them and tons of borders to add to your pics. Your pictures arrive on a (or in my case several) disc with copyright statement so you can have the pictures developed anywhere. On my last batch, extra stock photos were added at no charge. Depending on where the PhotoPass pic was taken, the added photos coincided with them (stock photos of Pooh and the gang with our WTP pics) nice addition!

I love to get a picture from the the wishing well looking towards the castle. Also getting a picture looking scared in front of the tower of terror is always a favourite. We did a podcast on a similar but slightly different topic, original photo spots, on our blog:) http://makethemagic.ca/?p=743
