The Jungle Cruise is one of Disney's most classic theme park attractions, and one of our Top 10 Disney Boat Rides. An adventurous trip deep into the jungle, the cruise travels down recreations of legendary rivers all guided by daring skippers with some delightfully punny jokes and stories. It's a 10-minute journey through treacherous waters that will leave guests coming out ahead. My family loves the Jungle Cruise, and it's in recent years we've also become fans of this attraction's "Jingle Cruise" holiday overlay.
The Jingle Cruise debuted for it's first Holiday Season in 2013, when as the story goes, the homesick skippers decided to make some holiday cheer by decorating the queue and boathouse with goodies mailed to them from home. In 2014 the fun is back with an even bigger budget and more holiday shine. They've decked the docks and embellished the boats with festive decor and holiday cheer. However, some of those shipments from home didn't quite arrive safely and the native jungle beasts are enjoying a festive holiday too. In addition to the fun Jingle Jungle Cruise decorations and festive costumes, the skippers have added a slew of seasonal jokes their standard spiel that are sure to entertain!
If you won't have the chance to catch the merry magic for yourself, why not check out this great video from our friend John over at BigFatPanda.com! He braved the wilds with Skipper Chris Lowry as they set out on "a holly jolly journey packed with shenanigans."
I think The Jungle Cruise is a fantastic voyage any time of the year, and no Disney trip would be complete without the fun and classic camp of this Adventureland cruise.

We love the Jungle Cruise every time we go - we have had some brilliant Skippers who really make it their own. The Christmas makeover to the Jingle Cruise last year was great - we're only sorry we couldn't go on it more than we did. Can't wait for our next trip as this is a must do!
