Limited Advanced Dining Reservations In Epcot Still Available For Thanksgiving

While many fans are right on top of their Walt Disney World advanced dining reservations as soon as that 180 window opens up, others are more laid back when it comes to mealtime. There are certain times of year that you can get a reservation just about anywhere, during the holidays is not one of them. If you plan on spending Thanksgiving in the Disney Parks and are still hoping to snag a great mealtime table for your family, you may want to act soon.


World Showcase Restaurants Offer Great Holiday Options


As of November 1st, 2017 lunch and dinner reservations were still available at select restaurants at the Epcot Theme Park. While the restaurants that still have seating aren't known for their classic American cuisine, I would be perfectly thankful for a reservation at any one of them. Seating is limited though, so act soon if you have your heart set on a table service gathering.

• Akershus in Norway has dinner seating available.
• Biergarten Restaurant in Germany still has some lunch tables open.
• Nine Dragons in China has reservations for both lunch and dinner.
• Both Restaurant Marakesh and Spice Road Table in Morocco have seating open for lunch and dinner service.
• and Tokyo Dining in Japan has some lunch reservations available.

Where would I gather my family for a Thanksgiving feast out of these choices? Without a doubt it would be Restaurant Marrakesh.


Pouring Tea At Restaurant Marrakesh


The interior of Restaurant Marrakesh transports guests to a Moroccan Palace. Soft lighting from stained glass chandeliers glints off intricate zellige tile work, white cloths drape the tables, and belly dancers entertain Guests as they dance to percussive live music.

While the cuisine at Restaurant Marrakesh has a decidedly Moroccan flair, it's not overwhelming. Even the least adventurous eaters can appreciate Morocco's national dish of tiny steamed semolina pasta and steamed vegetables served with seasoned meats. For those with an adventurous heart, try the Roast Lamb Meshoui, or Lemon Chicken. The menu is full of delicious foods that the whole family will enjoy, and regional specialty appetizers worth sharing with the table.
