With the Thanksgiving holiday tomorrow, the Disney chef's have been helping fans over on the Disney Parks Blog put a little magic into their Thanksgiving meals with tips and tricks to take your holiday staples and make them shine. Lenny DeGeorge, Executive Chef of Concept Development for Walt Disney World Resorts, came up with some fabulous Thanksgiving tips to help with your holiday meal.
Let's start off the Thanksgiving help with a couple of videos to help you get the most out of your Turkey. Chef Lenny is carving up a perfect bird and sharing his favorite secret turkey tidbit many people don't even know exists. My favorite part of any Thanksgiving meal is the cranberry sauce, and I have a recipe that adds a little zip to the traditional basics. It's easy to pick up what you need to jazz up your cranberries at any grocery store, and using a jellied base takes the ordinary and makes it sing.
Once the guests are gone, most holiday home chefs are faced with a mound of delicious left-overs. Why not spice up the post-feast meals with this holiday panini recipe.
Are you still looking for that special recipe to make this holiday even more special? Our friends over at the Disney Food Blog have a collection of recipes straight from your favorite Disney Parks and Resorts restaurants. Head on over and search through to find side dish recipes like Jiko's Macaroni and Cheese or the Pumpkin Biscuits with Candied Walnuts from the Walt Disney World Swan. No matter which recipe you choose, it is sure to be the perfect bit of Disney magic on your holiday table.
Have A Happy Thanksgiving!
