Our friends over at the Disney Food Blog posted a drink this week that I am just dying to try out! The China Marketplace booth at the 2014 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is serving up "Mango Green Tea with Popping Bubbles." I'm so excited, because I absolutely love bubble tea.
The Mango Green Tea with Popping Bubbles being served uses a new type of boba (that's what the bubble components are called) it's a little different than the chewier tapioca pearls introduced in bubble tea throughout the United States. These "Popping Bubbles" are a thin seaweed derived gelatin that's filled with a flavorful mango-ish juice ready to burst open inside of your mouth. I was leery the first time I tried them at my local yogurt shop, but honestly they're just plain fun. If you're looking for an exciting new drink that's non-alcoholic to sip during your food tour be sure to mark this one down on your list.
The China Marketplace has been serving up delicious goodies at Food & Wine since 1996 and Mango Green Tea with Popping Bubbles is not the only fun drink being served up at the China booth. According to the DFB Guests can also wet their whistle with the following beverages.
Thanks so much to the Disney Food Blog for giving us exclusive use of their image. Have you ever tried popping boba before? Did you grab one of these fun drinks while at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival? Leave a comment and let me know what you thought!

"SINGATO" is a typo. It's "Tsingtao", pronounced " ching-dow.
