Disney World is a great place for romance. When my husband and I travel to WDW, it's our chance to be kids together, enjoy our favorite foods, and take it as slow or as fast as we would like with touring around the parks.
In our opinion, there are some times of year that are most conducive to romance at Disney World. Here's our top picks:
This one is pretty obvious: Valentine's Day. The first half of February is a low-attendance month at Disney World, and coupled with the mild temps, you'll feel like you have the place to yourself! Book a romantic dinner at your favorite signature restaurant -- we suggest Victoria & Albert's, California Grill, Jiko, or Citricos.
Another obvious choice that can occur at any time of year: Your own honeymoon or anniversary. The beauty of this is that you most likely got married at one of your favorite times of year -- therefore, you're sure to enjoy yourself at that time of year at WDW, too. Be sure to get the "Just Married" or "Anniversary" pins, and you'll get all sorts of "congratulations" from Cast Members and fellow Guests! A romantic suggestion to celebrate your union: A Wishes fireworks cruise!
-Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Held from March to May each year, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, with its dreamy Disney character topiaries, provides backdrops for some very romantic photographs. My husband and I were fortunate enough to honeymoon during the 2009 festival, and got some great shots of Disney Princess topiaries behind us. And with all the flowers in bloom, it's simply too easy to celebrate your love in bloom, too!
-Epcot Food & Wine Festival. If you and your spouse are purveyors of food and wine, then this is the most romantic time of year for you. With special events running the gamut from free to high-dollar, you can book a special wine pairing dinner, cooking demo, or even attend the sumptuous Party for the Senses. The Disney Food Blog provides a look at what you can expect for the 2011 Food & Wine Festival.
-The Holiday season. There's something so very romantic about bundling up with your sweetie to look at Cinderella's Castle dressed up in beautiful icicle lights, sipping on a cup of hot chocolate at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, or taking in the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Hollywood Studios. For a special surprise, book a holiday sleigh ride at Fort Wilderness!

Christmas time with all of the lights. Could be a gorgeous wedding proposal shot?

My husband and I just love the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. As a couple without kids and as food and wine lovers, this is the time of year we feel suits us best. There is so much going on, and so many adult orientated events!Just strolling Worldshowplace and stopping for a bite to eat and some wine is romantic.

After being there to see the Christmas decorations this past December, that would be my vote. Though Disney is so amazing we can make any time romantic :)
