Simple Ways to Treat Mom at Walt Disney World

If you are planning on being in Walt Disney World over Mother's Day, don't forget to treat Mom to something special while you're touring. There are lots of ways that you can show her how much she means while still enjoying a fun family vacation.

Start by letting Mom pick the Park for the day so that she can have fun doing her favorite rides and attractions. No matter which one is her favorite be sure to create a touring plan that hits her must do attractions. While you're at it, you know Mom loves to have pictures! But let's be honest - she's frequently not in them because she's the one behind the camera. Treat her to a family photograph by handing off your camera to a Disney PhotoPass photographer or Cast Member. This way she'll have a reminder that she was part of that special day spent in the Park too.

For a sweet, elegant break in the day, book a table at the Grand Floridian's Garden View Tea Room. This lovely spot offers a delicious afternoon tea with either a la carte or pre fix menus. My kids (and husband) know that a Grey Goose Citron Slush would be tops on my list. With a little thought and TLC even a park bench can hold a magical memory.
