Small Plates and Mini Desserts at the Hollywood Brown Derby inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios

With thousands of fans set to descend up on Disney's Hollywood Studios for more than a moth of Star Wars Weekends I thought I would share one of my favorite spots in the Park to grab a bite to eat and have drinks and unwind, the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge. Since taking over the indoor/outdoor patio of Disney's version of the quintessential "Old Hollywood" eatery back in 2013, the Brown Derby Lounge has treated guests with cocktails, wine and fine spirits as well as selection of small plates to nosh while sitting in a relaxing place beneath shade umbrellas enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.

The Artisanal Cheese & Charcuterie Board for Two is a fine way to start with a selection of Artisanal Cheeses paired with Salami Calabrese, Salami Toscano, Duck Rillette, Imported Prosciutto, and Pate de Campagne. My family loves cheese so we always add an extra cheese plate that includes House-made Pickles, Spiced Pecans, and an Apple-Mustard Marmalade as well. If we're feeling hungry, the duo of Waygu Beef Derby Sliders make their way to our table too.

When it comes to indulging in an alcoholic beverage, Guests stopping in at this Hollywood Boulevard hot spot is known for its array of dazzling Celebrity Flights. The cocktail menu is steeped in classics, so why choose? Tasting flights offer smaller portions three different beverages to enjoy. Choose from a Martini Flight of the Stars (Tasting of three martinis), or Citizens Take Flight (Tasting of three margaritas) for a sampling of mixed drinks. If you're looking to go a little more straight forward they also offer flights of Wine, Champagne, Whiskey, and even Moonshine.

Don't forget to save room for a trio of mini desserts to top off your night. The selections of sweets that you can choose from includes Chocolate Three Ways, a banana-white chocolate toffee tower on a cocoa-almond cookie, bananas Foster and strawberry Champagne cheesecake and the historic Hollywood Brown Derby Grapefruit Cake.

The Hollywood Brown Derby is on the dining plan; it counts as 2 table services as a signature restaurant.

Yes Sue, the Brown Derby is on the dinning plan as a signature meal for full service. However - the Brown Derby *Lounge* has it's own menu, as reviewed above, and it is not on the dining plan.
