UPDATED August 2018!
Join your favorite underwater friends on a fun snorkeling adventure through the the coral reef habitat at Epcot's The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Presented by the National Association of Underwater Instructors, the Epcot Seas Aqua Tour allows guests age 8 and up to slip in the water and explore the seas up close and personal.
The Seas Aqua Tour is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours long and costs $140-145 per guest. Guests first watch a video about the sea and its creatures, learning about the environment and its inhabitants, follow your guide through a tour of the massive backstage infrastructure that filters and maintains the unique coral reef habitat. You'll have a chance to get all of your questions answered before slipping into the tank for 30 minutes of swim time.
An easy-to-use scuba-assisted snorkel unit keeps guests afloat and supplied with piped air. Swim along the surface in the tank and explore the different types of sea life that are present. Guests using the snorkel system are not able to dive below the surface, but have a clear view of over 65 species of marine life that live in the current free, crystal clear waters below.
Participants must wear their own swimsuit, all other snorkeling equipment is provided by Disney, with no personal equipment is allowed in the aquatic environment other than a snorkel mask (which allows for guests with vision impairments to enjoy the tour too). The tour is open to Guests 8 years of age or older however guests under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult. At the end of the tour everyone gets a complimentary photo of their group suited up in your gear, as well as a very special T-shirt souvenir.

I am actually a CM at Walt Disney World and I was able to experience a shorter version of this tour a few years ago...and it was ABSOLUTLY AMAZING. I reccomend it to everyone to do at least once. As stated above the equipment is very easy to use and makes you feel completly safe. Definatly a must-do for any Worldfile who's seen the parks and is looking for something unique and special to do!
