Take a Gelato Break at Epcot's Via Napoli

If you're looking for a spot at Epcot to sit down for a relaxed afternoon break and escape the mid-day sun, look no further than Via Napoli in the Italy Pavilion. Not only is this eatery my favorite spot for Pizza at Walt Disney World, but it's home to the delectable Gelato and Italian Soda Float called Gelato Frizzante. I know, I know, it's table service - you think you need a reservation. Honestly, there is nothing wrong at all with just dropping in on any Disney table service restaurant to see if you can get in for a quick bite. Especially in the mid-afternoon I find it very easy to get a table at Via Napoli.


Enjoy a Posh Break From The Sun


The Gelato Frizzante is a cool treat offered on their menu as dessert, but makes for a perfect icy cold drink to sip while you relax in the air conditioning. The orange cream soda is made with San Pellegrino Aranciata (a popular Italian Orangeade) and luscious vanilla gelato. A blissful orange-y creamy drink that may be the most posh "dreamsicle" I've ever had. And that's coming from a girl who doesn't usually like ice cream sodas.
