If you ask my husband, I'm a seriously girlie girl. I love shopping, and shoes, and handbags, and I absolutely adore my bubbly. Maybe that's why whenever we sail on the Disney Dream you can frequently find me sipping a glass of champagne in my favorite District Lounge - Pink!
Walking into Pink is like stepping into an enchanted "bottle of pink effervescence." The luxurious intimate space is decorated in French Art Nouveau style with velvet covered seats, seductively curvy shapes, back-lit glass bubble lighting, and a beautiful sculptural accent wall featuring hand blown glass dewdrops all in dazzling shades of pink. The entire room was designed so that guests would feel like they were immersed in cascading Champagne. Soft jazz playing on the overhead spirits you away to a rosey world where everything moves a little slower and you have nothing but time. Elegant marble and wood finishes are only highlighted by the soft lighting to create and ideal romantic setting.
The cover of the menu at Pink features the adorable Pink Elephants on Parade from Disney's classic movie, Dumbo. Inside you'll find a variety of champagne, wine, champagne cocktails, scotch, single malt whiskeys, and cognacs to imbibe in. One of the most popular menu features are the Champagne Escapes which pair a flute of champagne and your choice of fruity dessert verrine in mango, peach, or raspberry.
Taittinger, the makers of many a fine champagne created, two distinctive champagnes exclusively for sale aboard the Disney Dream. One is a Taittinger Brut featuring the ship on the label and dedicated to the Dream's inaugural year. The second is the divine Taittinger Prestige Rose champagne, features that adorable Pink elephant on the label. A bottle of the Prestige Rose will set you back $91 a bottle, or a more slightly more reasonable $20 a glass. It is absolutely beautiful and if your a bubbly fan like me, you have got to give it a try!
You can find the Pink cocktail bar located on Deck 4, Aft in the adults only District area onboard the Disney Dream. Have you been to Pink? Leave a comment and share your thoughts!

I share your enthusiasm for Pink! It is a luscious experience....the ambiance is so different from anything else on the Dream.

I am not a girlie girl. I hate shopping, carry a small backpack instead of a handbag, and the fanciest shoes I own are loafers.
But dang, I do like the sound of the drinks menu at Pink.
