There is no shortage of great quick service dining at the Walt Disney World Resort from the theme parks to the resorts to Disney Springs. In fact, some of the best quick service options can be found at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels!
We've been lucky enough to dine at many of the quick service restaurants at the hotels and today we're listing our top five favorite restaurants. We'd love to hear your favorite resort quick service restaurants, so be sure to leave us a comment at the end.
Are you hungry? We are, so let's dive in!
Roaring Fork at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a small quick service restaurant (given the overall size of the resort) but it's also a restaurant that we'd consider stopping at even if we aren't staying at the resort. At breakfast you'll find standard quick service items including pastries and the always popular Bounty Platter. But for a real treat we recommend ordering one of the three specialty waffles: Bananas Foster Waffles, Strawberry Waffles, or Chocolate Lovers Waffles.
Lunch and dinner choices also feature some delicious options, our favorite is the Roast Beef and Blue Sandwich. The footlong hot dog is HUGE and a great meal to share. And don't forget to order the popular Magic Cookie Bar!
One thing that sets Roaring Fork apart from some other quick service restaurants is that you'll wait for your food to be delivered to your table. The inside seating area is rather small, so time your visit accordingly. After you pay for your order you'll receive a number to place on your table. While this can be a good thing, it can also make your meal not so "quick."
Everything Pop at Disney's Pop Century Resort is a long-standing favorite in our book. We love the choices at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This quick service restaurant is quick large, and you'll find different stations at each meal time. Breakfast is always good but we love the choices at lunch and dinner from stations including the grill shop, ethnic shop, pizza shop, sandwich shop, and for dessert the ice cream shop.
Some favorites include the pasta dishes (get the alfredo sauce ... on everything ... really!), and the specialty burgers. The most iconic dessert at Everything Pop is the Tie Dye Cheesecake (still good even if it is served in a bowl), but you should also consider the Everything Pop Sundae. Made with six scoops of ice cream and every topping available (including Pop-Tarts), you'll want to share this with friends or family.
Captain Cook's at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is another must-visit quick service for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Sure you can order Dole Whip here (sadly it's no longer self-serve) and the lunch and dinner options are unique and delicious. But this spot lands on our top 5 list for one reason: Tonga Toast.
You'll find Tonga Toast at Captain Cook's and Kona Cafe, but we love ordering it for breakfast at Captain Cook's and sitting outside while enjoying the lovely views at the Poly. For those who have never had Tonga Toast (what are you waiting for?!?), it is banana-stuffed sourdough bread that is battered and deep fried and dusted with cinnamon sugar. Also, it's divine. And worth the visit to the Poly even if you're not staying there. Our friends at the Disney Food Blog love it so much that it holds a spot in their #OnTheList series. Trust us. Go to the Poly and order Tonga Toast.
Contempo Cafe at Disney's Contemporary Resort is our favorite quick service restaurant when we're looking to escape the Magic Kingdom for a while. Just a short Monorail ride away you'll find a great spot for lunch or dinner (breakfast is good too, but we prefer lunch and dinner here). On our must-eat list: the Lobster Roll, the flatbreads, and the Pot Roast.
The Contempo Cafe is also home to some amazing cupcakes and other sweet treats so don't forget to check out the bakery case!
Landscape of Flavors at Disney's Art of Animation Resort is easily our favorite resort quick service restaurant thanks to the deliciously diverse menu. Like Everything Pop you'll find several stations serving up different food selections at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And just about everything on the menus can be customized for you. Some of our favorites include the Tandoori Chicken, create-your-own salads, the Caprese Sandwich, and create-your-own pasta.
Don't forget to stop at the specialty beverage shop where you can create your own smoothie (or choose one off the menu)! The gelato is also a winner when it comes to dessert!
There are other great quick service restaurants at the resort hotels including The Mara at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney's Grand Floridian, and Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter. What's your favorite resort quick service? Let us know in the comments.
Many thanks to the Disney Food Blog for use of their photos.

We just tried Contempo Cafe back in December, it was really good! I thought it would be too loud in there with with the monorail, Chef Mickey's and all the shops but it really wasn't too bad!
And I LOVE Captain Cook's too. Those nachos! <3

I also had a surprisingly delicious meal at Contempo Cafe. Traci, do you remember if the lobster roll is the kind with hot buttered lobster or the cold lobster salad kind?
