Looking for a spot to find a sweet holiday treat this December at Disney Springs? Stop by AristoCrepes at the mouth village causeway bridge to find sweet crepes and bubble waffles made to order just for you.
There's a small holiday menu at AristoCrepes this season that includes one of the Disney Food Blog's favorite snacks of the season, the Peppermint Bubble Waffle. I however was on the hunt for something a little more sophisticated in flavor, the Cherry Jubilee.
This location is also carrying what I think is one of the cutest holiday novelties of the season, the Mickey Jingle Bell Sipper. This giant bright red bell is sure to make you feel merry.
The Cherry Jubilee takes the classic dessert flavors and turns it into a holiday crepe with a Cherry and Mascarpone Cheese Filling then topped with Romanoff Chantilly Cream and a Black Cherry Liquor Sauce. I loved this crepe and was so glad I had put it on my list. The flavors were subtle and sophisticated without overpowering your palate with too much sugar. The cherries were bright and tart, the melty mascarpone cheese subtly sweet, the liquor sauce adding depth.
Don't let the look of this dish put you off, admittedly it is a bit of a hot mess with bright green color of the crepe and fast melting chantilly cream. None of this effects the flavor of these great crepes at all.
The best part about this delicious dessert snack, is that it's included on the Disney Dining Plan as a snack credit! It was without a doubt my favorite use of a snack credit while at Disney Springs this holiday season. Be sure to stop by AristoCrepes during your Walt Disney World holiday.
