Using The Walk-up Wait List Feature On MyDisneyExperience

Using The Walk-up Wait List Feature On MyDisneyExperience


While at Walt Disney World this trip, I wanted to try the new Walk-up Wait List feature on the MyDisneyExperience App. I had a relaxing morning before getting on the Skyliner from Pop Century to Epcot. I decided to try it at Beaches & Cream for lunch but there were no reservations available.

Once I got closer to the restaurant, I pulled up Beaches & Cream to start the process. First it asks how many are in your party and party mix (number of adults and children). It gives you an approximate wait time. My wait time was 5 minutes.

Then it asks a series of questions for accommodations and celebrations. You click Skip to bypass each question if they do not pertain to you.

Let Them Know if You Have Dietary Restrictions
Are You Celebrating Something Special


The last step is entering your name and contact information. Once complete, click Submit.

It couldn't have been easier. I received the text and push notification from the app once my table was ready.

I was given a card with the QR code to pull up the menu.

This was the first I've eaten here since the refurbishment. I like what they did with the space.


Socially Distanced Beaches and Cream Tables


For those needing to charge your phones, they have outlets next to the tables. I saw three from where I was sitting.

I really like this feature. I would use it again in the future.
