I love taking pictures of Walt Disney World, and if I'm on vacation you can be sure that I've got a camera in my hand. Maybe then it's not surprising that when I'm not traveling myself I love to look at other people's Disney pictures too! I love getting different perspectives on the Parks and seeing Disney through the eyes of others.
I'm often asked for advice on taking pictures while at Walt Disney World, one of the most frequent thing that people want is a list of some "must take" shots. After some thought about what I considered to be important shots, and what shots can be captured with a varied range of equipment, I came up with the Walt Disney World for Grown-ups Photo Hunt!
This simple photo hunt is designed to get you thinking about the environment that you're in and help get your creative juices flowing, without being too specific about what you shoot. There are so many magical things to take pictures of at Walt Disney World it would be impossible to narrow it down to one set of things for everyone. This list of 25 photo topics leaves specifics open to interpretation, while still making sure that you capture some of your favorite vacation moments.
I've done a few photo hunts while on trips and the hardest part is always remember what pictures I'm hunting for. Whether you'll be shooting with your phone, as many people do today, or just want to keep the list in a handy place you won't lose it we've uploaded the photo hunt image to our member forums in several different sizes. Download the best image for your mobile phone and set it as phone background. This handy tool should help you remember what magic you're looking to capture.
Once you take your pictures, be sure to share them! We here at WDWFG would love to see you tweet us your pictures on twitter! Tweet is @WDWforGrownups and be sure to tag your images with #WDWFGPhotoHunt. If you're not on twitter you can always show off you photo creativity in our member forums.
Happy Hunting!
