Walt Disney World New Round-up For April 4th, 2019

April is Earth Month, and Disney is calling attention to its approach on the environmental efforts of Disney Parks. One such display includes a larger-than-life sculpture of penguins, between The Land and The Seas with Nemo & Friends, that is made entirely out of recycled marine debris. "The artwork was created by the nonprofit organization WashedAshore.org, whose mission is to produce powerful works of art that are designed to help inspire a global audience to keep oceans and waterways clear of plastic pollution."

PhotoPass has added another great in-ride photo for guests to gush over - the Haunted Mansion ride photo! As your Doom Buggy journeys through the Haunted Mansion Disney's special spirit capturing imaging will reveal your spooky journey.

Epcot Festival News

Dates have been announced for two of Epcot's biggest festivals of the year! The 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival will run from August 29 - November 23, 2019 bringing a world class culinary celebration to the Park. At a full 87 days of foodie fun, 2019 gives guests the longest festival to date.

Once Food & Wine clears out, devoted Disney fans know that it's time to start decking out World Showcase for the magnificent Epcot Festival of the Holidays. Taking place this year from November 29 - December 30, 2019 this yuletide celebration brings together holiday traditions from across the globe for guests to learn and explore this wonderful time of the year.

Our friends over at AllEars.net offered up a few great tidbits this week that I also wanted to share with you. Take your first look at the new Wine Bar George Brunch featuring the crave-worthy Dole Whip Mimosa. They also shared a photo tour of the spectacular Chocolate Easter Egg Showpieces currently on display in the Lobby of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Truly some stunning pieces in the display this year.
