Why Disney’s Hollywood Studios Is Still Hot This Summer

It's no secret, Disney's Hollywood Studios is undergoing some major construction with many previous Guest areas closed down and blocked off to make wake for new adventures. Construction - Disney fan has a love/hate relationship with it. Because while the idea of new rides and attractions excite us, the ugly walls, and fewer attractions leave us wondering why we're paying so much to get in the park. Never fear though, Disney's Hollywood Studios is still putting on a show and running with fan favorite attractions, expanded food service, and exciting new shows.

Star Wars lives at Disney's Hollywood Studios and beginning June 17th the all new Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular will light up the night. Featuring next generation technology that will according to the Disney Parks Blog will "combine fireworks, pyrotechnics, special effects and video projections that will turn the nearby Chinese Theater and other buildings into the twin suns of Tatooine, a field of battle droids, the trench of the Death Star, Starkiller Base and other Star Wars destinations." It's sure to be out of this world.

Food is always fun at this Park and Echo Lake Eats has brought snack and stroll to the lake with three new food booths offering some tasty options for lunch and dinner. Bocados del Lago Nachos y Empanadas, Sliders to the Stars, and Hollywood Waffles of Fame are all offering grab-and-go eats, as well as a selection of alcoholic beverages.. Toy Story Mania has opened its 3rd track! This means lines are shorter than ever for the perennial fan favorite attraction. While FastPass+ is still the best option for a spin on this addictive and competitive ride, the stand-by lanes have dropped in time significantly even bringing them under an hour from time to time.
