Do you have a restaurant you've always wanted to try, but just haven't gotten to, yet? Would love to hear what others think.
Mine is Flying Fish. Well, flying fish and Brown Derby. And Victoria and Albert's.
And Pizzafari.

Great question Bali.
I have never been to, but have always wanted to try Artist Point and California Grill. I have Artist Point booked for Feb. and California Grill will have to wait for a future trip.
Of the four you mention that you want to try, I have been to Hollywood Brown Derby and Pizzarari. HBD is a must-do, in my opinon. As for Pizzafari, the food is passable; nothing sensational. More impressive than the food are the themed murals in each room. Those alone make this counter service a must do, if you ask me.
I really want to go to Jiko. And Beaches and Cream and Kouzzina (the menu looks awesome!).
Brown Derby is probably my #1 to try that I haven't.
Caitie, you MUST do B&C next time. It's the best!

It makes NO sense that we haven't been yet! I LOVE dessert!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on Artist Point, Imagineer. I've heard good and bad. Re: Pizzafari, I agree 100% that the murals make the space. Very strange, though...
Caitie -- please plan on Beaches and Cream and Jiko for your next trip. They're fantastic! Fingers crossed that you guys get to go soon.
Good morning!
It's nearly afternoon, but if I ever get back to WDW I'd like to go to Yachtsman's Steakhouse.
Artist Point's (had dinner there in 2007) food is awesome but I think we caught the server on a bad day. He was really slow.
I ate at the counter at California Grill on December 12, 2004 and had great food and service.
Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club is simply marvelous. I went there after going on Mission: Space (on an empty stomach--not recommended) for the first time on December 6, 2003. I remember being so hungry (hadn't eaten in 18 hours) that I had a double cheeseburger with American, Swiss, cheddar AND provolone cheese; fries; a chocolate milkshake; and for dessert, two scoops of chocolate ice cream. Chocoholism, anyone?
Jim
Jim, you were probably too busy recovering from eating the giant steak at Shula's to try out Yachtsman. They each have their appeal though.
Ha ha! Jim, that sounds pretty good to me! I love piling the cheese on burgers -- the more the merrier!

There are a ton of restaurants we'd like to try, as we haven't done many. HBD, V&A's, and Jiko are among them. Ooooh, and Beaches and Cream sounds awesome too. We like dessert.
Beaches and Cream is such a great mix of good things -- diner food, ice cream, and low prices!!!
I'd love to try Victoria and Albert's, just to see if the hype is for real!

For those interested in trying B&C I recommend eating there as well as getting the ice cream. The burgers are pretty good IMO.
