Hi there! Just relax and have a great time! I've only been on a 3 night cruise but we had a fantastic time! be sure to see the stage shows at night, the ones on my cruise were fantastic!
I have never been on the cruise so I can't answer that BUT I can and will welcome you to WDWFG.
Welcome to Grownups! We're super glad to have you here!
I haven't been on a Disney cruise, but I've been on others. I echo Kristen - just relax and enjoy! There's really nothing to it. And I don't know if you consume alcohol, but I have heard that Disney is one of the most liberal cruise lines where it comes to bringing alcohol aboard the ship, which can be a huge cost savings. Have a great time, and we'd love to hear how the trip goes!
Wow! Thanks for the responses!
Yeah, looking forward to the stage shows
Thanks for the warm welcome, too!
We don't "imbibe", so that saves even MORE $$

They have *lots* of non-alcoholic mocktails available on board! At the sail away party and the pirate night party they come in really nifty souvenir glasses too! You might want to budget for one or two so you can get the nifty glasses to take home!
I don't know that anyone could have prepared me more for my first cruise, they sort of heard you on board and direct you where to go. The first few hours are honestly sort of a blur to me. Read everything they give to you, you'll be overwhelmed with invites and offerings. Just pick one an go with it. We were so exhausted by the end of (late seating) dinner we didn't do any of the "clubs" just headed back to the room for bed!
I haven't been on a cruise yet (hopefully next year). I hope to learn some tips myself.
Not a cruise person here, but to our little home on the Web!. Woohoo! down nto 22 days!
So excited for you. I took my first Disney cruise (first cruise ever actually) in January and I did NOT want to leave after a week on the Disney Wonder to Mexico. I can't describe it... I just love the way Disney does cruising. I don't think I could ever go with any other cruise line after the fantastic experience I had with DCL. The staff is amazing and they just go out of their way to make your trip magical. Have a wonderful time!
