We all know that the holidays bring crowds to Walt Disney World and 2020 is no different. However I think there are a couple things to keep in perspective when dealing with the 2020 situation.
- Weekends crowds are reaching capacity. Park operations are currently running at about 35%, so while capacity is is being reached, it's not quite the same as other years.
- Lines seems quite long. If you just glance at the length of the line you will notice them trailing way outside the norm. Remember though that the people in line are maintaining a 6ft apart distance, creating the illusion of a much longer line that it actually is.
- Place your mobile order early. Mobile ordering is THE way to go, however right now it's not a last minute dining option, and wait times once the order is placed can be considerable. Place your mobile orders earlier in the day to be sure to get the time spot that you want to pick up your food and eat.
How are you feeling about the current situation and holiday travel?
As is a common refrain, be sure to pack your patience. Wondering what other folks are thinking about this? Be sure to read The BIG Problem You Might Have at This Year's EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays over at the DFB.
