40% Off Deluxe Resorts...

Wow...That's a good saving for UK visitors for this year..Noticed that the free DDP finished on November last year for 2014 reservations, but see today that it's cheaper to book AKL than PO resorts...In October this year a family of three can stay at AKL for 9 nights, flying out of Manchester including 14 day park hoppers for PS3636.. That includes magical express from MCO or 14 nights for PS4551... That's about $5450 and $6800...respectively ...So here's my quick question to my American buddies...Would you rather have a 40% room discount or Free Dining..Infact that question thrown up to everyone.?.

I would grab the 40% off !

I found that while we take and set a couple meals aside for nice
table dining...that the rest of the time we are better at winging the
quick service counters and we often share plates as I would rather
fill up on sweet goodies and an adult beverage.

Once again Magic Mirror, thanks for your input...Only on our last visit in 2012 we got free DDP for the first time, but like yourself we kinda wing it at CS meals with a few ADRS flung in,so this 40% off deluxe looks a great deal..

Yes, definitely go for the 40% off. Ken and I go for the room discounts now instead of the free dining as it works out cheaper for us.

Yes, definitely the room discount. Especially 40%!

We did the dining plan a couple of times, but we didn't come out ahead. I'm not big on desserts and like to have a drink or two with dinner so right away it doesn't work for me.

I must find out more about TIW MrHub. I think it would fit our dining habits well from what I know of it. We're thinking of becoming AP holders so that would be an option. awesome

40% off the room, no doubt it. I mean, just on numbers alone, lodging and accommodations definitely cost more than the dining plans plus the DDP, free or not, doesn't make sense financially for me personally.
