5 LEAST favorite counter service by park

King, you've inspired me again. Let's check out the flip side of the counter service dining coin. Which Counter Service restaurants have you tried and have not felt the need to repeat?

Mine are:

MK - Cosmic Ray's

AK - Pizzafari (not really their fault--I had some overheating/dehydration issues shortly after eating there that kind of ruined the experience)

DTD - hmmm...turns out that EoS is the only counter service I've ever eaten at in DTD...I got some sort of milkshake thing at Ghiradelli once that was WAY to rich, so I guess that's my least favorite?

HS - Pizza Planet (DH would say Starring Rolls)

EPCOT - I like all of the places that we've actually eaten, so my least favorite has to be one I haven't tried. I don't care for the selections at the place in UK (Yorkshire County Fish Market, I think). I eat a very limited amount of fried food and if memory serves, that's basically all they have there.

To be honest I only have one. We usually eat at the same places and have enjoyed them (hence the reason we keep going back Wink )
The only one I can think of is Caseys at MK

Let's see for me...

MK: Haven't eaten at a bad CS place I can think of.
DTD: Same as above considering I've only eaten at EOS though I really want to try WPE because of the positive reviews.
Epcot: Lotus Blossom Cafe in China. (Yeah, that was a big mistake. Like I've said before, I've had better Chinese food elsewhere.)
AK: Pizzafari (Need I say more?)
HS: ABC Commissary and Pizza Planet

This is hard. We check menus online long before we travel and focus on the places that most appeal to us while skipping anyplace that doesn't. So I can make a least favorite list, but it will mostly consist of places we've never eaten.

At AK, Pizzafari.

At DHS, Studios Catering Co. Actually, we did eat there long ago, and it was okay, but we like ABC Commissary and Backlot Express better.

At Epcot, anyplace that just serves standard park fare like burgers and fries. I don't even know the names of those places at Epcot, but I know there's one in Innoventions, one in the American Adventure, and also the African Outpost.

At MK, that place in the building with It's a Small World. Again, don't even know the name of the place, just know the menu does nothing for me. And also at MK, The Lunching Pad. Boring.

MK~Golden Oak Outpost. DH got very sick from the chicken sandwich. Also Casey's hotdog buns were so stale that we couldn't eat them(we gave them 3 tries over the years too, and they were hard and stale every time.)
AK~Trilo-Bites pulled buffalo chicken waffle. Now, my DH loves buffalo chicken almost more than he loves Disney world. So we've tried every version that WDW has to offer. The DFB showed good picks and gave a good review of this sandwich. All I can assume is the DFB was there on a rare day. DH tried this sandwich twice and both times he reported that it was "disgusting." He tried it a second time, because like I stated earlier, he LOVES buffalo chicken and was hoping the first one was a fluke. It wasn't. He couldn't finish it and said it was awful. BTW, If you want an excellent chicken waffle sandwich, get one at Sleepy Hollow in MK. They are GREAT!
HS~ABC. The lines are always long for "meh" food. We prefer Studio catering, Backlot or even a jalapeno cheese pretzel, over ABC.
Epcot~Liberty Inn in the American Adventure in WS. I certainly hope that people visiting from other countries don't think this represents an accurate example of American food. Even though it is called American fast food on the WDW website, it's not even good for fast food.

MK - Cosmic Rays. Had such a terrible experience in Feb after the half marathon that I doubt I'll ever go back.
AK - Haven't had a bad one.
HS - Pizza Planet
Epcot - Haven't had a bad one
DTD - The only CS I've had there no longer exists. Wink It was horrible though (McDonalds)

The only place I can think of is Columbia Harbor House in MK. The menu doesn't do anything for me & the food is okay. I'll go in for a drink and maybe a snack but that's it and I avoid even doing that unless I feel like I'm going to pass out from thirst or hunger and it's the closest place.

I mainly keep to the same places when I eat in the parks.

MK-Cosmic Ray's I guess since I don't go there very often
DAK-Pizzafari
DHS-Studio Catering Company and Fairfax Faire
Epcot-Liberty Tree Inn and Les Halles Boulangerie
DTD-Wetzel's Pretzels don't have me running back to them

I have heard so many wonderful things about this place, but have only been there as a family in the heat of summer and so while their clam chowder is suppose to be outstanding, not so much of a draw in late June.
I have also never been a huge fish fan, but I do hear they now have a salad that is quite good and a crab salad sandwich? So we have that on our to-try list.

Otherwise we don't care for the Tunga (taco place either) and the Outpost is just the same stuff you get at a fast food joint. There are sooooo many better choices at the other parks for dining, so DH usually sticks with Cosmic Rays.

The other no-no is ABC Comminsary at HS, just had a blah meal there last time we tried and never went back.

I actually like ABC Commisary. The food isn't bad and they used to have a curry dish but what keeps me going back is the chocolate mousse. It's not table service restaurant quality but for a quick service/fast food type mousse it's quite and good and if it's primarily made out of Cool Whip or some other not real whip cream whipped topping it doesn't taste like it.
