I've heard Universal gives some discounts if you have AAA. Do any of you know how it works?

We have AAA. If it is like other discounts, you just show your AAA card to get any discounts. Check the AAA website or call your local office to see what they have.

Just got back at the weekend, & found out that there are a some restrictions when I tried using my UK AA card (which gives you AAA discounts). The Wizarding World of Harry Potter doesn't give any AAA discounts for some reason. At the rest of the parks you need to spend a minimum of $50 at the gift shops before you get a discount, so make sure you buy everything in one transaction. You are supposed to get a discount at the restaurants, but we forgot our card the one day we ate outside the Wizarding World (!) so I can't confirm if that still applies.
I think you may also get discounts on admission, but we bought out tickets elsewhere, so can't confirm this.

Thanks Scuba Mickey! My local office just gave us a You get 10 % off, but they weren't sure on where or what. They are however very good with Disney planning.
