When I booked my trip I purchased a 7 day park hopper pass. My plan for the day I arrived (Friday, 11/11) was to resort hop and maybe go to Downtown Disney. While "budgetting" my dining plan credits, I planned on paying for lunch that day out of pocket and using one credit for dinner that night at Chef Mickey's. Then I starting thinking that it may be cheaper to add an extra day on to my park pass and go to Epcot and use the snack credits for lunch at the F & W festival. I have the deluxe dining plan so I'll have 14 snack credits. I am also considering signing up for one of the seminars on Saturday so that will take up 2 hours of my day. Part of my thinking to add the extra day was to make up for those two hours on Friday.
I went to AAA and added on a day for a mere $5.32. It would have cost me at least $10 to pay for lunch at one of the resorts out of pocket.
