AKL villas Concierge question.

I am currently booked for SSR (my home resort) from 1-16-10 to 1-31-10 but I would love to change it 7 months out to AKL Jambo House. I thought that I had heard or read,somewhere that you can get a Studio in the Concierge section of AKL for an additional point charge. Can anyone verify that this is indeed true and what they think my chances are for accomplising this swap? I am afraid that the lenght of time I am trying to get it for may work against me. If not I would probably settle for a Savana view.

Yes, you can book a studio concierge level at Jambo House. A studio Concierge Level during that time frame (Adventure Season) is 15 points per night Sun-Thu, 22 points per night Fri and Sat, and 119 weekly. These are accurate because it's taken from a 2010 point chart. There was a slight increase in points from 09 to 10.

Keep in mind that Concierge level books up quick, so I'd get on the phone as soon as you're eligible (seven months out) and go waitlist if it's not available.
