We all know that Disney hotels have awesome themes and features, but which none has the staff that simply blows you away? Is there one Disney Hotel that you feel the staff goes above and beyond even your highest expectations? Let us know how the Hotel staff makes your trip even more magical.
To be honest... since were DVC members... we don't see them that much. BUT... I will give kudos to our home resort AKL. Our first year as DVC members we forgot our sons backpack. It had EVERYTHING he had bought at Disney. I was calling from the bus to the Orlando Airport. They hadn't found it yet... but the next day when I called they had found it, and said they would ship it to us for FREE! Seriously... I know a lot of motels do this, but it was like an alarm clock or a phone was left. This was a good 10-20 pounds worth of items in this backpack! So to me this was pretty amazing.
Oh... I actually have one more.
The King of Pins! Yes... the King of Pins will greet his subjects in the gift shop every day. My son had seen him a couple times, and he granted Evan to be the King of Pins for the day. I thought it was pretty cool.

I think the service manager at AoA was amazing! One of the guy's headphones were damaged so Todd (the manager) gave us a credit for the cost of the headphones and a one night stay credit!
I've always thought that all the staff members we have ran into at animal Kingdom lodge have been great....I always love how you get a Welcome Home when walking through the door

I agree. AKL staff has been the most welcoming and accommodating of all resorts we've stayed at. They do welcome you home, and they make it feel like home.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.
