Saw this update yesterday on a non-official-Disney site. I wondered why I suddenly was seeing all these AK morning hours for next week that weren't there just a few days ago!
Beginning Saturday, April 28, Animal Kingdom has added Extra Magic Hours for most days throughout June. The Extra Magic Hours offered are generally from 8 am to 9 am with a few days being as early as 7 am to 8 am.
I noticed today Animal Kingdom has EMHs on Sunday in addition to DHS.
This will definitely help take some of the pressure off of some of the other parks, like MK and EPCOT during the morning hours this summer... Glad I grabbed FOP FP's on several occasions during our 8-day stay this June.. The safari would be cool to see at 7 or 8 am.. 
At exactly sixty days out I picked up FOP fast passes for three (yes, 3) different days! Ultimately, I cancelled one of them, so will still have the opportunity to ride at least twice! We were there the weekend Pandora opened last year and it was crazy 
busy.
Seems to me this is a smart way to fan out the crowds between Toy Story Land and Pandora. I'm glad that they are being proactive.
With the morning EMHs, we noted that when the park opened for non-resort guests at 9 am, FoP and Na'vi were both already at 60 minutes for Stand By. It didn't take long for that to jump to 90 minutes + once the park opened up to every one else.
