Spook that nice! We have the same colors, but our Kitchen is the yellow and our fireplace wall in the family room is the red.

I have taken over the guest bathroom and am slowly working on turning it into an Evil Queen room..after all...every queen needs a throne biggrin

So here is the standard bathroom....Amy and I found a regal looking shower curtain, rug and towels at JC Penny. I had put off buying them because of the cost but Amy convinced me no other ones would look as fitting so I went back to buy them only to find out they were gone! eek I found a manager who said they had clearance them out the week before. I scrambled home and got online to be lucky enough to purchase what I needed...and all at 70% off! clapping

I figured she can't have too many mirrors around so I found these three black framed mirrors on clearance for $10 each at Hobby Lobby and put them above the shower:

The candle below and the holder was another find on 80% off clearance at Hobby Lobby, the small Queen by the candle base is a Christmas Ornament.

The Queen picture is from the Disney Designer Villain LE Lithograph series from the Disney Store. I purchased the frame at, where else, Hobby Lobby (gotta love those weekly 40% off coupons!)

This picture is from the Art of Disney Store in Downtown Disney and was hand colored by a Disney Artist.. I chose to bring it home and framed it myself (yes..Hobby Lobby frame and the decoration above it too)

On the back of the toilet is this handsome box and there is a little surprise for anyone nosy errr daring enough to open it..

Snow White's heart, of course! (someday I am going to add a hand written letter on parchment to the Huntsman)

This area above the towel bars is still unfinished...Amy just found this great shadow box at Michaels Craft Store for $10 and the figurines were clearance out at the Disney Store for $9.99 for all of them.

Of course, I needed the "family" photographs...complete with the poison vial bottle and a nice, big red glass apple (all Hobby Lobby, pictures were from online)

and a nice close up of those beautiful towels:

I still have the Evil Queen embroidery faces which I got from Disney last fall and haven't taken time to
get them sewn on some hand towels...it's work in progress..but it's fun to watch for things to complete
the room!

Great job Angie. I admire anyone with decorating skills. That talent was not given to me.

She's out of college and living at home but when she leaves the nest, her room will become MY Disney room and the beanies stay! yay

Disney-inspired room?? Why, I've never heard of such a ridiculous thing!!

laugh

I guess this is a good time for me to post updated photos of our family room, some of which I've posted bits and pieces elsewhere in this forum.

This is the steps leading down into the family room from our living room.

Right next to those steps are framed memorabilia from Epcot's 25th anniversary, Disney/Pixar framed stock certificates, and the beginning of the Donald Duck merchandise invasion.

But the most prominent feature of the family room is our wall of pins. These are our pin collection, and as expected, it is dominated by a lot of Donald Duck pins.

If you turn around from the wall of pins to look behind you, you'll see the bookcase that separates the wall-of-pins area with the TV seating area.

Up on the TV are a few more Disney stuff. The hat under the plexiglass cover is the commemorative hat that they handed out at Disneyland during its 50th anniversary back in 2005.

In this corner of the family room we have two major items: a display cabinet and another smaller wall of pins. I've shown the display cabinets elsewhere, including details of what is inside. The wall of pins consists of ONLY framed sets, i.e. pin sets that came already framed from Disney. The big Donald that you see sitting on the chair is a gift from a friend 2 days ago. She found it at a yard sale for 45 cents!

This is just a couple of shelvings for knick-knacks. Couldn't have something too deep, so these shallow shelving units fit just right under the window to display these dust catchers (that's why we have a housekeeper!).

And finally, the framed, tin posters that we bought during WDW 40th anniversary.

That's all! Smile

Wall holders?

If you mean the frames that the pins are in, I bought them from Micheal's, or at least I did. They used to have these cheap frames (came in 2 sizes) that were just perfect for the pins. But the last time I looked there (about 3 months ago), they no longer carried that brand. I haven't looked since.

Luckily, I don't think I'll be needing anymore. I am restricting the wall-of-pin to be only on what you've seen here, plus the other extra wall for the framed sets. If we get more pins (as in Donald ducks, park icons, and Imagineering pins), then I will have to remove one of the existing collection from the wall and trade them off. I've already done so with my Mickey pin collection, my Rides pin collection, and my Holidays pin collection. Traded them away since there's no more room on the wall. The next one to go will be our Chip 'n Dale collection.
