For a new story I'm working on, I have a couple of procedural questions and am looking for some help. I figured I'd access places where someone might be a police officer or retired police officer. Maybe you know a PO who can help...?

Yep. I've had four stories published so far (you can find some here: http://www.scribblersandinkspillers.com/emeraldtales.html if you look for the stories by Jason Flum), and I've completed three novels that I'm trying to sell.
I'm currently working on my fourth. I did have someone on another board get back to me about the police -- I hope I get an answer soon because I can't really continue the story until I know what the police would do....
