Anyone know what happened to the final room in the Haunted Mansion?

Just got back from a quickie trip the the World for the Epcot Flower and Garden (Fantastic food booths this year by the way), made a stop at MK, visited the Haunted Mansion and the tag along ghosts that show up in your reflection where gone! The old ghosts that jumped in (or on) your Doom-buggy had been replaced with simple projections of ghosts. No reflection, no hitchhikers, no cool head re-arranging or disappearances. Always found this to be one of the most clever effects on all the rides. Anyone else experience this? Know what happened?

It was probably just a technical issues that they were having that day. We were there a week and a half ago and everything was working properly. We did the Marceline to MK tour, which goes backstage at HM and they made no mention about any effects changing in the near future.

I had that happen to me one time, and when we got on later in the afternoon, everything was back to normal. There would be protests if Disney ever changed that, I think.

Good to hear, not glad it happened to you but glad to hear it is more than likely the default when "happy haunts" interrupt the special effect. So no need for me to organize that protest.
