Anyone remember the fun house

I have a vague memory as a child of a Wizards of Magic Fun House. There was a huge wizard as the mascot -- I remember it being kind of scary - with dioramas of monsters and stuff. I remember a spinning wheel you climbed through and rope ladders. I remember a killer mini golf course...

Anyone know what I mean -- remember it, have further memories of it?

I've never heard of this. Are you sure it wasn't in one of your dreams? Smile I searched around on Google for a sec and didn't find much. Do you have an idea what year it would have been?

It was called The Mystery Fun House.

After posting I was searching a little and found this:

It did exist!

The video worked for me...
It's very 70s/early 80s.

I'm glad I didn't make it up!

I found it from a google search -- took a little work Smile

There's a link someone on that page -

that has some pretty cool videos...

Relating to the other thread, I often have things from when I was a kid that I don't know whether they're dreams I remember as being real or actual things.

I've had that too! I remember having a dream as a kid that I was walking in an amusement park with my cousins and aunt, and we came to some service door. Someone who worked there came over and told us not to go in there because there's a bear through there.

For YEARS I SWORE this happened but no one remembers it but me -- I think now it was just a crazy dream, and, in hindsight, what are the odds a service door would actually just have a bear behind it?

Not good, but it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility for a CM to say something like that to dissuade a child from their intended path. Especially when you consider the parent(Drunk would know full-well what the CM was doing and would probably appreciate it. It very well may have been one of those crazy dreams (which I suspect we've all had), just saying it could happen.

This is a really good point. Some of those things that seem surreal as a kid were probably just adults messing with us, or telling us white lies to save time. While we all doubt there was a bear, it's not nearly as unlikely that someone TOLD you there was a bear.
