Even though the Park & Resort are closed, the animal care teams at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge still labor to create the most enriching environments possible for the animals that are the stars of the show. These dedicated cast members have made Disney a recognized leader in animal care and conservation. Once again they have been marked as the gold standard by earning accreditation by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).
