For those of you who don't know NJ, Jackson is home to Six Flags Great Adventure which also includes Six Flags Animal Safari. Though Six Flags doesn't know if the Baboon is theirs (how can they not have a head count eek confused), I think it is. What Six Flags Safari Animal doesn't dream of one day escaping and making it to the "big league" and reside at Animal Kingdom.

Sorry I know this is stupid, but it's the first thing I thought when I read it. laugh

LOL - yes! Escape to Disney!

That whole thing about not knowing if it's theirs or how many they should have is about stoopid:

"Though Great Adventure holds a zoological permit from the state, the park is not required to know exactly how many baboons it has inside its fences, Ragonese said."

But ya kinda think they would anyhow, don'tcha?

But I always tell Dave I think the animals at disney (squirrels, birds and rabbits included) are the luckiest animals in the world.

Just heard on the news tonight that it has been captured and returned to that theme park. Guess he didn't make it all the way to the luxury of animal kingdom
