Baby Gifts From Disney World

Hi Everyone!

A co-worker/friend of mine is pregnant and loves Disney World just as much as all of us and I have been given the task of finding her a gift in Disney World during my upcoming trip. Does anyone have any suggestions of where I should look? I like the idea of personalization. Any tips or pictures would be greatly appreciated! muchlove

The World of Disney in DTD is the first place that comes to mind.

You'll find baby clothes/toys/gifts throughout parks in various gift shops themed based on location.

That said, the gift shop outside of the Winnie the Pooh ride in Magic Kingdom is _mostly_ stocked with baby clothes or toys. The gift shop outside of Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom sells 'baby yeti' stuffed animals and Yeti based onesies.

JoAnne's recommendation of the World of Disney at Downtown Disney is a good one -- as it probably has the biggest selection --there will be 'center section' of the store that is dedicated to Baby/Toddler clothes--and a pretty large toy store as well.

Similarly, the Emporium on Main Street, Mouse Gear in Epcot, and Mickey's of Hollywood in Hollywood Studios are the larger "park" stores that will have larger selections.

Good recommendations Sorcerer Mickey!! With the exception of Expedition Everst I'm pretty sure I have purchased baby gifts at all of those stores! laugh With four grandchildren, three born this year I'm always looking for gifts to being back. mickey

Depending on when she's due, maybe a personalized Christmas ornament would fit the bill. Try the Christmas shop at DTD.

You could also get the baby size version of the traditional Mickey Mouse Ears hat and have it personalized with the baby's name or just "baby - the parents last name" on the back, i.e. Baby Smith. mickey
