Bartender! Over here, please.

It's February.

It 's 6 o'clock.

The sky is the color of dirty dishwater. The temperature is below freezing . The guy on TV that get's paid to tell us what the weather will be has that excited look in his eyes that means we are in for something nasty.

The work week was 50+ hours of mind-numbing meetings, chaos and consternation.

I need a beverage. I need an adult beverage. I need a couple of adult beverages.

I close my eyes to think of what I want and where I want to go to get it.

Only when I do, I see bright blue skies and people in shirtsleeves and shorts. I see a Jameson at Raglan Road.

But maybe you have a better idea.

If you could be anywhere at WDW for Happy Hour, where would you be, and what would you order?

Get two. I'm buying.

We LOVE the rose and Crown pub in England at EPCOT, the Hat Lady is the best, she can (and does) sing about ANYTHING and is an amazing entertainer. Last time we were there, there were 2 bachelor parties that were oh so rowdy, and she was hilarious helping them celebrate!

and a close second would be the hot holiday wine from Germany on a chilly night around Christmas.

I do want to try a cucumber margarita at Cuerva (sp?) the bar in Mexico. A cold Corona in Mexico is always great in the heat. If you can't be on the beach with a Corona, Disney will do!

Victoria Falls at AKL. doesn't matter the beverage. Just to be there. . .

Make that another call for the Grey Goose Slushie in France! Mmmmmm... those are my favorite. Either that or a nice glass of Rosa Regale in Italy.

I really like the beer sampler at Rose & Crown. I can make my own Black & Tan and Half & Half at the same time!

La Cava! Omistars...I had a cucumber margarita in there last night - again...I can't seem to get passed it to try anything else - and it is SO fantastic. I love the chili lime salt they use on the glasses. I could drink those all day long.

Well, not really. Because then I'd be passed out.

Rose and Crown getting that Souvenir Mug full of Strongbow..yum..yum..yum! Of course I have not experienced LaCava yet because it wasn't open last time I went so I might be changing my tune after a visit there!

Wow. Two votes for the cucumber margarita. I guess we will need to try one of those. Although, I must admit the vegetable I usually think about when I imbibe, is a potato, fried and covered with chili and cheese.

By the way, the weather guy was wrong (nothing new there) when he predicted 3-4 inches of nastiness. We got 8 inches.
Feel free to stop talking about your cold weather down there at any time.

I really *WANT* to love La Cava, the atmosphere seems amazing, but I can't drink tequila without my arms and legs going numb and feeling like I'm going to die.

The only margarita I get is the Italian Margarita at Via Napoli! Nom nom nom... a blend of frozen limoncello and grappa.

Food and Wine Festival enjoying a glass here and there around the World Showcase.

If I happened to be there at another time of the year, I love the kir at Les Chefs de France.

Terrific question. I gotta go with Brad - a Black & Tan at R&C is my go-to drink.

Heading down to Orlando from 2/19 -2/24 for a work-related conference. We have a busy day & night schedule, but I just might be able to sneak out early on the 24th and hit World Showcase before my flight back to Chicago. If anyone else will be there on Friday afternoon, let me know and we can meet up for a drink (not tied down to the UK - any country will do!).

I'm flying down from O'Hare 2/22-2/27 and I actually will be in Epcot 2/24, how funny! Not sure what my schedule is though as I'm going down for a "girls only weekend" I know we have packet pick up for the 5K that day and Via Napoli reservations at 4:30.

I vote for the Territory Lounge at the WL. It's always calm and quiet, the wait staff is eager to please. The decor is great and the TV is big.
They have the beer and wine selections from Artist Point and they do fancy cocktails too. It's between Wispering Canyon and Artist Point, but you would think you were in some swanky and cozy lodge somewhere in the northwest US.
So, after a long day at the MK, take the boat to the WL. Come up through the trees by the pool. Enter the lower level of the WL and walk up the ramp towards that magnificent lobby and you are at the Territory Lounge.

Or....

I also vote for Crockett's Tavern at FW.
After a long day at the MK, take the boat to the FW. Come up past the remains of the Lawnmower Tree, and enter Crockett's Tavern. Good selection of beers, wine and mixed drinks. You can even take your drink out on the front porch and sit in a rocking chair. It's not a swanky lodge type of atmosphere. It's more like a nice lake-side bar full of friendly folks.
It's in the same building as the Trails End and the Hoop-Dee-Do-Review.

Excellent. I'll probably be heading into WS at about 3. I was planning to hit R&C first, but open to anywhere. When your schedule becomes clearer let me know. I am new to these boards, so I'm not sure if the messaging option is linked to email.

If the timing doesn't work, then good luck on the 5k!

For me, it has to be a Lapu Lapu from the Tambu Lounge at the Poly. The bartenders are top notch, the atmosphere is completely "take me away" and the drink is outstanding! Nothing like rum in a big pineapple awesome

This summer will be the first time I'm able to go to Disney after turning 21 2 years ago. I can't wait to explore EPCOT world showcase! The chance to try the international beers on tap will be a real treat! All of these posts sounded so good!
