Be Our Guest -Hard to book

Last week, the one thing I wanted to see most in the new Fantasyland was the Be Our Guest Table Service experience. We had tried to book way out but nothing was available so we even tried quick service but the line was almost to Ariel's Grotto. I knew with the cheerleaders in attendance by the droves that I had no hope of getting in and would wait till the next trip.

A CM noticed my disappointment and gave us a great tip...Come at 4 pm, get in the line on the left hand side (the right hand side is the reservation check in so don't wait in that one) and there are always seats for 2 or 3 when they first open which was perfect for my husband and I. We only had to wait about 15 minutes and it proved to be the best Birthday dinner ever!! Our steaks and seafood were fantastic! The service was excellent too!

As a huge B&B fan, I loved the decor of the castle and the attention to the small details. It was quite romantic! We had a great bottle of the cheaper ($35) champagne which was very good! Belle and Beast even had a Bday card sent over to me with some of the grey stuff lit up with a candle. (The grey stuff was delicious!) The desserts are to die for as well! I also received a big hug from Beast as we left muchlove

Disney Magic is the best. So glad you were able to get in to BOG. I made my ressies as soon as I reached my 180 day mark.

yay We have a TS at BoG in July. Unfortunately, when I booked it months ago we were not planning on my DD18 bringing a friend. So, I have tried repeatedly to modify our reservation from 4-5. I spoke with several CMs with several different answers. I spoke with the concierge at AKL and they said to just show up, that we would be seated. Here's hoping I have the same Disney magic as you did! I ate the QS in April with my DD and loved the interior.

I had the steak sandwich, which I hear is off of the menu. I cannot remember what my daughter had. I would recommend a croque monsieur if you are going for lunch-basically a grilled ham and cheese sandwich the french way. One of my favorites when I am in France. At QS you get your own drinks from the drink station, but it is really cool how they come find you and bring your food without seeing you to a table first. You get a red rose beeper that must have LoJack(lol) in it!
Even my GS22months noticed the theming. We were in the West Wing and he kept saying, "Mal, mal." That is French for bad, which is how he interpreted the torn tapestries I'm guessing and not a comment on the food. He LOVED the Knights in armor as we stood in line.

I ate at the QS too last summer. It is just stunning in there, but it is a bit noisy. I would love to be in the West Wing this time....have a dinner ADR next week! I actually had a kid's mahi mahi dish for lunch, but am thinking of the Chicken Provencal for dinner. Might have to have one of those strawberry cupcakes too, and take "home" the leftovers if necessary. mickey
