Best month to visit Disney

Yes I have started planning for my 2016 trip already! But here is where I need your help. In 2016 we are going with my friend, his wife, and their kids age 11,7, and 3. They want to go when it is the least busy but good weather. They are willing to pull the kids out of school. We usually go in September because of low crowds but last year was just to hot. So this year we are trying November. So I am asking you all what would be your pick for low crowds and beautiful weather?

Weather comes first for us..First 5 trips were all in July..Very hot and humid with daily thunderstorms and lots of South American tour groups..Then our last vacation last year was in October ...Very nice weather, not too hot or humid, and not one tour group to be seen..Needless to say our next trip in 2016 will be in October ...

I'd go in January or February. I like cool weather. Even November or March can be warmer than I like.

October is my favorite. Lower crowds, milder weather, plus Halloween decorations, the F&WF, and MNSSHP. Can't be beat.

I like late September. Halloween decorations are already up, smaller crowds, and the weather has always been warm. If it does get a little chilly, I just need a sweater, not a jacket.

I was thinking about October but I guess I thought the crowds were crazy then. It would be a blast to take the kids to MNSSHP. I have always wanted to go. The last time we were in Disney in October was when we got married there in 1999!

You'd love it, especially the kids...Just avoid Epcot at the weekends.. awesome

Hmmm.....I like to go to WDW in January as it gets me out of the cold and away from the snow. I also really like early September for the very low crowds

Idealistically, I'm thinking maybe late September-mid November. September can still be very hot from what I understand. Aside from Columbus Day Weekend and major fall religious holidays which always change dates every year like Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, October seems to be the best month because of cooler weather and I've noticed a lot of fans like the Halloween Party much more than the Very Merry Christmas Party. Have to agree with the Watchmaker regarding Epcot during Food and Wine weekends. Things can get very crazy and feel like college party weekends all over again from what I've read and heard. November is also fine, as long as you finish your trip the week before Thanksgiving week.

My favorite month is November. Our weather here is perfect in Nov. Most days are low 70's, sunny with a nice breeze during the day. September-mid October is still quite hot and humid. If your vacation is the first few weeks of November you could experience Halloween and Christmas in one trip.

Early May for us.It used to be September but after just skirting a hurricane one year and having to cancel due to several in a row a few years later we changed to earlier in the year.

October or November. Lower crowds, less heat and Halloween!

Well for 2016, I vote for October because then maybe you could join us for at least one of the meet up activities! yay

But for favorite month, mine's got to be early December. I love Disney anytime, but the parks are at their finest all decked out for Christmas!

October, October, October. Really can't go wrong.. Never had bad weather, MNSSHP, F&W in Epcot. Plus crowds are super super manageable.

My second choice would be early December to see the Christmas decorations, but since I've never actually done it I can't really vouch for that time of year. Looks super magical though!
