Close for me between RR, EE, and ToT. I went with the Tower in the end for the queue, the often excellent cast members, and the variance. My favorite part of the ride is the picture afterward when I'm wearing a jovial/happy/sleepy/otherwise-not-scared face in stark contrast to some of the riders with that look of sheer terror (not that there's anything wrong with that). LOL, cracks me up every time.

It's funny you mention that I get a bit of a kick out of that too. I kind of look like I'm a little bit grumpy and that's about it. It's kind of incongruous with me having my arms raised straight above my head too. silly

Yeah, that always thrills me to no end (no pun intended). Try giving your sweetie a kiss or laying your head on his/her shoulder like an impromptu nap...those are a hoot too. Sometimes I can't help but have a big silly grin and flailing arms though.

We've done some funny shots on EE too.

I haven't timed it right on EE yet, but I will this trip. The scarier the ride/part of the ride, the more fun this is.

I've only been on ToT once in my life and was so freaked I've refused to go back. I love RR but then again any ride that pumps rock music into my head is awesome. EE got put into the parks long after my last visit so I am way excited to try it!

Also I love splash and space mountains but I wouldn't say they "thrill" or maybe I've just been on too many coasters in my life. mickey

You'll love EE. It's a great combination of Thrill and Theme. It's very excited but also so well done.

I always think of Splash as a bit of a "Thrill" ride, but definitely not high on the thrills per minute ratio. You should try the Space Mountain at DL sometime. They really turned it into a thrill ride there.

That makes me sad inside. ToT is a BRILLIANT attraction; one of the best anywhere. The theming, the story, the ride itself. I hope you're able to give it another chance some day. The drop profile is totally different now versus when you were there.

I actually knew someone who rode this ride once and said that they thought they almost had a heart attack or some such. They said they'd never ride it again. Once they got convinced to do it again it's now one of their favorite rides. I think it loses some of the fear factor after you know what to expect.

Maybe I'll give ToT one more go this trip. But when I rode back when I was 16 with my dad and bro we all came off the ride looking VERY pale! lol laugh

I think EE is a good combination of Thrill & Theme, but it's not quite as exciting as it could be. I think the suspense build-up is great though and compensates a bit for the fact that the drops aren't very severe. I always find that the Splash Mountain drop is really thrilling just because you're not restrained. Somehow that makes a big difference in my feeling of safety.

The same thing happened to me. I didn't ride for several years after that. I swore up and down I was going to have a heart attack. Finally, I was shamed into riding and it was suddenly fine. I think I'd just talked myself into the fear. I'm glad I rode again, but you can only do it when you're ready!
