Boardwalk Villas - Boardwalk View - Christmas Holidays

I just had to share my excitement with y'all.. I was able to nab a boardwalk view 1-bdrm Villa during the X-Mas Holidays (Not actually X-Mas Day, though) through a DVC member at a great rate... This is something I've wanted to do for years. I know it will be magical at the Boardwalk during the Christmas Holidays.. My family and I can't wait!! This'll be my kids first experience with staying at BWV's.. F&W is the only time we've stayed there and those are always "Adults Only" trips... Now to start planning...

Any tips on must do's while there for the Holidays?

Visit as many of the resorts as you can!!! I love seeing all of the trees and decorations.

Animal Kingdom Lodge (as well as AK) has my favorites. And the Christmas music loop at AKL is AMAZING!

We hit as many as we could this just past Christmas and I still want to see more!

I can't advise on things to do at Christmas, but DANG a Boardwalk view villa for Christmas! That has got to be so sweet!

I think just take advantage of the holiday specialties. Do all the Holidays Around the World things at Epcot, Watch Jingle Bell Bam at DHS, maybe get tickets for the Very Merry Christmas Party. I'm sure you will have a blast!

Thanks for the helpful tips.. I am definitely considering the "MVMCP".. The Holidays around the world is a given... My kids love doing the world showcase during the Holidays. And we're definitely going to hit some of the resorts, like VGF, VWL, AKL, and Contemporary for all the beautiful X-Mas decorations. Now to think about what special dinner I'm going to plan.. awesome mickey

I agree with taking time to tour the resorts! While you are touring them-save room for the gingerbread cookies you can purchase at some of the gingerbread pieces of art-and look for the collectible pins..usually the main Resorts offer a series of pins themed for Christmas you can get when you tour the gingerbread displays!
