Bonjour from Paris!

Hi everyone!
I'm an American living in Paris since my college days (1995), huge Disney fan like all of you:

- spent childhood summers at the campsite at Walt Disney World before Epcot was finished
- grew up in Scottsdale, just 7 hours' drive from Anaheim (many high-school and college road trips)
- have had a Disneyland Paris Annual Pass for the past three years
- Pin collector! (but just a few)
- I have an awesome Steiff Steamboat Willy
- Signing up for the Disney World Marathon 2013 (looking for other solo females going to share hotel costs)

I also happen to be a tour guide in Paris, so if any of you are coming and want to tour around Paris and Disneyland Paris, drop me an email!

Favorites are definitely the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion (aka Phantom Manor here in Paris). I love Thunder Mountain Railroad and Star Tours. Also love just strolling around Main Street (some day I'm getting a haircut at Dapper Dan's!).

Wish Paris had Mr Toad's Wild Ride...is it still at Anaheim? And the Tiki Room at Disney World? Smile

I decided I'm going to go 3 days London, 4 days Paris (one of those four in Versailles), and then two days in DLP. Is that the right direction? What would you do with 9 days in Europe? You must include DLP in the trip, because I'm definitely doing that. Thinking going to London first then taking Eurostar to Paris and going everything by the RER (almost everything) when there. Good plan or not?

Hi Heather! I LOVE Paris! We honeymooned there in 2001 and we want to get back really badly. I can't wait to read your blog!

I can't vouch for Mr. Toad in Anaheim, but we still have the Tiki Room here in Orlando! In fact, it underwent a bit of a renovation last year and was restored to its former self, before the "Under New Management" stuff was added.

So you're doing the Marathon in 2013? Very cool! Is this your first runDisney event? I did the Wine and Dine in 2011 and it was an awesome experience.
