Booked another trip!

I have my next Disney trip scheduled for 1/16/2010, so I have not been there on that one yet but I just booked another trip to the World for 6 oct. 2010. We usually book for 2 weeks at a time and I tried to book until the 20th of Oct. but the system would only let me book till the 14th of Oct. and the rep. said that I would have to call back on the14th of Nov. to book the remainder of my trip.
I usually call a few weeks past my eleven month window but this time I called too near the 11 Month window if you know what I mean. As far as I am concerned it is a pain in the butt to have to call again and deal with 2 seperate confirm. numbers et al. To me this is a glitch in the booking procedure that Disney should fix. but Oh Well at least I have a Halloween time reservation. clapping

awesome Congrats, Vettelover! Have you been to the World at Halloween/F&W Festival time before? We just loved it this year.

That booking glitch DOES sound annoying. You never know how Disney's going to handle the "linked reservation" thing (do you have to check out then check back in?).

Where are you staying?

SpaceAce: We will be staying at SSR and I REALLY hope we do not have to check in, out, in, out, even worse would be having to change rooms. I doubt though that we will have to though.
We have never been to the World at that time of the year and are looking forward to it, both MNSSHP and F&W festival time!!

Woo! Congratulations Vettelover! October is awesome! Have you been to an Oct MNSSHP before? We've gone in Sept before and the crowds were great!

Congrats Vettelover. We have to wait till next month to book our big "family vacation" for June at Old Key West grand Villas. SSR is our home resort.

We also have a trip booked for early 2010 (Feb) and then another one for fall (late Sep). Great planners think alike? mickey laugh

Though it is a pain, I don't think you'll have a problem with the linked reservation. Once you book your second week, they'll be able to combine the reservations into one. This happened to me, except the circumstances were slightly different; we were booked in two different resorts, but waitlisted such that it'd put us at the same resort the whole week. When the waitlist came through, they linked those nights to the nights previously booked, thus making two reservations one.

@Vettelover -- You'll be going Home! I'm sure there won't be too much of a problem with the linking reservations. They do that so often...

@Imagineer -- Sounds just about perfect to me! Bay Lake Tower and Boardwalk Villas -- two amazing resorts!

@Jim -- Ha! Missed your jokes around here for a while! Hope you're doing well. Any trips planned for you in the future?

I just booked our second trip to! We'll be there October 8th - 11th muchlove

I only had 129 points left since we booked an 8 day trip for April/May so our trip in October will be short but we really just want to get the kids to MNSHP biggrin
