I'm curious if anyone knows how deep the discounts are if you book your next cruise while onboard? I have my next cruise in mind and am wondering if it makes sense to book it now or wait until December.......any thoughts?

Becks534 just re-booked onboard last month - so if she sees this she should have the latest deals.
When I did it in 2011 I think I got a 10% discount and a $100 onboard credit. In general I am a fan on the re-book onboard deals.

The 10% discount is correct but I can't remember the details of the onboard credit. I think we got a $50 dollar credit since the cruise we booked is less than seven nights.
10% off, 10% down and OBC of $100 for 6nights or less and $200 for 7 nights or more.
depending on your cruise dates the prices are rising pretty quickly. so the sooner the better however if its something that can wait I say wait for the OBC.

Thanks for the info everyone! Will be hoping for a good deal in December!!!
They were offering 20% off your next booking, but no onboard credit when we sailed the Fantasy in May...We did not rebook.
That's good info, everybody! Thanks for sharing! Have YET to take my family on a Disney cruise and am seriously considering it!

NHShorty is quite right. we're booked for cruises 6, 7, & 8 all in 2014 on DCL. I honestly think I could cruise each year and go to the parks everyother year that's how awesome the cruises are and I love the parks.

ITA!
We did one spur of the moment cruise in May, are doing another spur of the moment cruise in October and will FINALLY go on our planned cruise at the end of November!
We were lucky though- I found a military rate on the May cruise, and it was amazing! It was the first time that we'd had a chance to visit Key West, and I really enjoyed it.
