I have a friend who goes to Vegas once a year with all his friends for a "Boys Weekend Out." A similar experience to WDW seems weird, but I can't say why. What do you guys think?

I always say Disney World is a great analog of Vegas, for people who don't like to gamble. It does seem kind of strange to get a big group of guys together and all go to WDW though. I think you need a selection of females along to pretend they "Dragged you" there to keep your credibility.

Yeah you're going to need another way to package it! My friends would certainly give me some strange looks if I suggested we all go to WDW together!
None of us play golf, I guess I'll need another excuse. I'll be subject to both external and internal ridicule otherwise.
I think the big problem is actually staying on site. They should add gambling in Orlando to give you a cover story.
There's enough riff raff in Orlando to create a good cover story, I'm sure. Though it's a quite a funny thought to picture a bunch of guys telling their buddies that they're going to Orlando to cause a ruckus somewhere, and then sneaking off to ride the Teacups!

Maybe you can all just say you're going "solo" and then have it be a coincidence when you run into each other! Also would you share rooms?
Sure. Why not share rooms? No reason to pay the exorbitant hotel prices twice.

I think the weirdness factor goes up even more when you share rooms.
Bah! You have to put your "fear of appearances" aside when you're talking big buck hotels like that.

Just having trouble visualizing selling my friends on this theoretical trip.
I've seen groups of guys from Frats at WDW, but they always had their girlfriends along. I'm really the only one of my friends who's a true "Disney Lover" though so I might not get far with the idea.
