Breakfast at Disney World Before the Park Opens

I was perusing the article on avoiding crowds at Disney World and one of the things it mentions is going in early for breakfast. I was thinking about that and I've almost always had a lot of fun going to those breakfasts, but it's hard to get up that early. The do you use EMH thread suggests that most of us are in the same boat and aren't really into setting an alarm on vacation, so I was curious if you guys ever do these?

I'm on the opposite side of the fence on this issue. I'm a morning person anyway, and even MORE so when I'm at WDW because...welll....more waking hours at WDW!

I make very early ADRs for breakfast on occasion, but the earliness of the hour is never a factor not to.

We're not normally up that early, but I remember having breakfast at a little cafe on Main Street at Disneyland! It was wonderful, as you watched all the people coming in.

I have NO idea what warranted us being in the park that early that day.

I love early-morning breakfasts at WDW. Especially when I can get into the park early and be in line before all of the turnstyle folks. Wink

I agree! The park is so quite and its nice walking down main street with no one there and taking a few pics before heading somewhere for breakfast.

I imagine I'll have to try this at Animal Kingdom next trip; I've never been there before opening. I bet it's just beautiful!

I've said this in other threads, but one of our favorite things is to go to Epcot early in the morning and go straight through Future World to World Showcase.

Early in the morning there are probably as many employees back there as there are tourists. It makes for a nice, leisurely walk, and if you are into photography you have a wide open shot of just about anything.

We've gone into American Adventure before and there probably weren't 20 people in a show.

That's a great point. I've never been allowed past the bridge to France early in the morning, though--are the other countries (besides the ones you have to walk through to get from International Gateway to Future World) open in the morning?

Beats me. We've always had a good time before 11. The shops are open and some of the attractions and there is NO one there.
