Buying That Special Something For Your Partner..

You know another tradition that we have is we always treat each other to something that we fancy..Last trip my DW bought me a Disney ring, (not real gold I may say) And I bought her a Disney bracelet...However this year I told her she can buy me my first set of Mickey Ears.. eek I know, it's terrible..This is our 6th trip and without a set..I've a set picked out..( see photo ) Now my DW has a passion for handbags, and must have at least 20 of them in our house.. eek ..So this trip she has her heart set on one of these babies..( see photo. ) gaah ...Do any of you good folks exchange presents when on your Disney trip.?

love the ears!!! I don't have any either. sad

We usually just pick up whatever we see that we really like. I am going to get Alex and Ani since it will be my birthday. I usually get the hubby a hat unless he gets one he likes before I see one!

That being said, I like the idea of exchanging gifts. Sneak off on our own and get each other a little something to bring memories back of our fab time awesome

I saw them on a Disney site and I think Mousegears at Epcot and World of Disney will stock them..

Well on my first every trip 20 years ago my nan brought me a plush Mickey Mouse dressed as a cowboy, then every year we went she brought me another, an animal kingdom one the year the park opened, an artist one the year I started art school...well my fiance knew this and on our first trio to the world together she surprised me with a little black and white style Mickey (which I have always wanted) and a Peter Pan Mickey on our DLP engagement (Peter Pan is the star of their nigh time show) . It's a tradition now. A little Mickey to remember the holiday maybe this year the halloween one, or the one as Sally, she's my favourite,

I by my fiance looks of treats but usually the more expensive pins or just stuff she has her eye on as we go around the parks. We tent to take a $100 a day spending money and then just spend it on each other, cause we are weirdos

We buy stuff for ourselves, but the only times we've done gifts is when one of us went to WDW but the other had to stay home for one reason or another. We each went nuts buying gifts for the other both times this happened.

Since my DH and I go every couple of weeks for the weekend we don't buy things each visit. But when we do buy anything it is usually my DH buying something for me. I very rarely buy anything for myself, even outside of Disney. Because of this DH loves to buy me things he knows I would love to have at Disney but would never buy myself. For example, this weekend we are going to disney and DH is insisting that he's going to buy me the new Alex and Ani Jack Skellington bracelet because he knows I LOVE it but I wouldn't ever buy it for myself. I like to buy him different hats at Disney. He has 6 different baseball hats from WDW that I bought him. He's like me and almost never buys things at Disney, even if he wants them. So I love surprising him with a new Disney hat I know he really likes every few months

My very lovely husband always buys me a piece of jewelry when we are at Disney. I have just started getting the Alex and Ani bracelets. Love them! He also buys himself a watch every year.

I think that's a brilliant idea! I know there's always loads of things I'd love for myself at Disney, but I spend most of my time and money getting gifts and souvenirs for others. Perhaps I'll suggest to the boyfriend that we exchange something this year Smile

My situation is slightly different... My 2 special boys will not be with me, so no gift exchange but I will make sure I take something back.

DS will definitely get a few pins.... And other assorted items

The BF I'm not sure, if I can find toothless in Walmart or something stitch, he would love a goofy treat but I can't guarantee not to eat it hahaha silly

I'm also hoping to do some more Christmas shopping while I'm there, I started a few days ago and hope to grab a few unusual/ special bits while I'm out there.

In Paris DS and I would find and trade a pin that we thought the other would like, then trade these between ourselves in the evening.

Sorry is not quite on topic but I do love gift shopping..... muchlove

I buy Mrs. The Colonel anything she desires and spare no expense. I shower her with gold, diamonds, emeralds and pearls. She asks for so little and puts up with so much. Damn fine woman. Top Notch. Jolly good sport.

Last year the Alex and Ani Disney collection had just come out. We were looking at them in the International Gateway store and I could tell she liked them. So I bought them all for her.
