A note from Caitie because she's having a hard time posting:
I know many people on this site are not 20-32, so they don't qualify to take it,
but I am hoping you know some people who are! Also, even if you are outside the
age range, you can still enter the contest at the end of this post!
I graduated last May with a degree in Publishing Studies and have really been
struggling to find a job. I have been applying for every job I can find and it
just isn't going well.
I have decided to think out of the box a little, and I need your help. I see that
publishers seem wary to find and market books specifically for 20-32 year olds.
Maybe they don't understand people in this age range or think that they won't
buy book. I think they are wrong nad want to show them that it is a viable
market.
If you are 20-32, all I would need you to do is fill out this short survey (it
takes maybe ten minutes) that can be reached by going to
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6GMTP2C. It would be a great help as I try to
look at the future of publishing and people 20-32.
I am also hosting a contest that goes along with the survey on my blog at
http://caitieflum.wordpress.com/2010/01/04/reading-survey-experiment-plus-a-contest/,
if you want to enter, you can enter even if you can't take the survey.
If you can share this with others that would be willing to take it, it would mean
so much to me!
Thanks!
