Does anyone know for sure if they are changing the menu when they do the Cali grill refurb. The reason I ask is because me and will we're both wanting to go there on our next trip but only if they keep the current menu. We can make our ADR's in May but they said the refurb won't be done till late summer so I didn't know if anyone knew the answer to this question. Thanks
I haven't heard if they are changing the menu. I would suggest still making the ADR when you can. It would be easier to cancel it and make reservations elsewhere if the menu does change than to wait until you know for sure.
According to Disney Files - "Cailfornia Grill.....to undergo a sweeping refurbishment project that will bring enhancements to its interactive kitchen, menu items and more....." Didn't go into any more details.
I had to cancel my ADR there the last time we went so I hope they don't make big changes, since I liked what I saw before.

Yes Jess, when we were just there in Nov, our server Gary said they are doing a total redo of the menu. He told us to get our favorite dishes because they may be gone after the refurb. Also Chef Yoshi is retiring and not returning after the refurb. She is the great Sushi Chef there. I will miss her very much!
Oh if the Spicy Kazan Roll is not on the new menu, I will be heart broken!

Yes, I also heard that the menu will be completely redone. I will be sad to see Yoshi go, however Disney has some other wonerful sushi chefs.
At least I get to see her one last time in January. She is training her replacement.
